January 18th, 2015 Malcolm Richards competed in the USATF Half Marathon Championships at the Chevron Houston Half Marathon. With a loaded field of some of the best runners in America, Malcolm ran a marvelous race placing 16th overall. His time of 1:03:26 has achieved the Olympic Trials A Standard and a very impressive 2 minute personal record. Malcolm has now achieved Olympic Trials A Standards in the Marathon and Half Marathon where the race will be held in Los Angeles on February 13th, 2016. His outstanding performance at the Championships was only 2min 35 seconds from the leader and 1min 8 seconds for Olympic Silver medalist Meb Keflezighi.
